Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out how user information is handled in the mobile app "German Words & Idioms (CEFR A1–C1)" (the "App").
1. Basic Policy
The App respects your privacy to the fullest extent. The App does not require account registration or any app-specific login, and your learning data is by default stored on your device (in the Premium version, you may optionally sync it to your own iCloud; see Section 3 for details). The developer does not collect or store your learning history or any personally identifiable information.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The following information is stored on your device in order to provide the App's functionality.
- Learning history and review schedule (FSRS data)
- Favorites and various settings (theme, learning settings, passive listening settings, etc.)
- Purchase status (whether Premium is active)
This data is erased from your device when you delete the App.
3. About iCloud Sync (Premium Version)
In the Premium version, in order to restore your data when changing or reinstalling on a device, or to transfer it between devices, you may sync your learning history, favorites, and various settings from the above to your own iCloud (Apple's CloudKit).
- The sync destination is your own private iCloud space, and the developer cannot access this data.
- Syncing does not require any app-specific login or account creation (it uses the iCloud account already configured on your device).
- You can turn sync off at any time from the settings screen, and doing so deletes the synced data on iCloud (the data on your device remains).
- In the free version, no syncing takes place, and your data is stored only on your device.

4. About Advertising
The free version of the App displays banner ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use information such as advertising identifiers to deliver ads. For details, please see Google's Privacy Policy.
When you purchase the Premium version, no ads are displayed.
5. About Purchases
In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment information is managed by Apple, and the developer does not obtain your credit card information or the like.
6. Information Provided When Contacting Us
When you contact us by email, we use your email address and the content of your inquiry in order to reply. This information is not used for any purpose other than handling your inquiry.
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information targeting any specific age group. Learning data is stored on your device.
8. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be revised in response to changes in laws and regulations or the addition of features. If there are any significant changes, we will announce them on this page.
